The Red Sox continue their slump

The Red Sox are 3-8 over their last 11 games. With the season coming to a close, they have picked the wrong time to be in the middle of a slump. Their pitching needs to be better if they want to have any success in the postseason. John Lackey has earned himself the worst ERA of any Red Sox pitcher with 25 starts ever. Tim Wakefield is not getting better. The pressure of trying to obtain his 200th career win has gotten the best of him. Josh Beckett is hurt once again. Eric Bedard is also hurt, and he hasn't been anything to write home about. Daniel Bard has looked very shaky as of recent. Clay Buchholz are you still out?
